FORTHCOMING MEETINGS

Progress group meetings take place between 6 and 7.30 pm at the Urology Dept, Royal Gwent Hospital, Newport, South Wales.

The dates for the coming year are:

  • Wednesday 13th January 2010 (MEETING CANCELLED)
  • Wednesday 10th March 2010 (AGM)
  • Wednesday 12th May 2010
  • Wednesday 14th July 2010
  • Wednesday 8th September 2010
  • Wednesday 10th November 2010

Meetings usually include a presentation from a visiting health professional and a chance to talk and share experiences with people who have been affected by prostate cancer. New members are always welcome to attend.

 

 

MERVYN MOORE MEMORIAL LECTURE 2007

The Mervyn Moore Memorial Lecture is named in honour of Mervyn Harry Moore, a stalwart member of Progress who sadly passed away in October 2001.

This annual event is a forum for healthcare professionals, politicians, carers and anyone affected by prostate cancer.

The Mervyn Moore Memorial Lecture 2007 took place at County Hall, Croesyceiliog, Cwmbran, South Wales on Friday 11th May 2007.

 

The date of the Mervyn Moore Memorial Lecture 2008 is still to be confirmed.
